NBC Universal-owned streaming platform Peacock has announced a groundbreaking partnership that will bring its content to Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest Pro virtual reality (VR) headsets in the US. This collaboration marks the first time that Peacock will be available on a VR headset.
To kick things off, Meta Quest users will have the opportunity to try Peacock at no cost. Following the trial period, users can then access Peacock’s extensive library of over 90,000 hours of content.

That including movies, TV shows, sports such as NFL, MLB, Premier League soccer, WWE wrestling, and much more. This immersive experience will be delivered through more than 50 always-on channels, all within the VR environment of your Meta Quest headset.
Within the Meta Quest environment, Peacock subscribers will have the ability to multitask by watching multiple screens simultaneously or by streaming Peacock content while browsing the internet or using other applications. They will also have the option to customize the screen size according to their preferences, including expanding it to a cinema-like experience.
The introduction on Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest Pro is part of a broader, three-year partnership with NBC Universal.
This partnership aims to bring various immersive experiences based on NBCU intellectual properties to platforms like Horizon Worlds and Avatars Store. These experiences will include beloved franchises such as Universal Monsters, Halloween Horror Nights, and The Office. For example, in the near future, users will have the opportunity to watch The Office on Peacock using a Meta Quest 2 or Meta Quest Pro.
