As part of its strategy to bring more sports to more fans and solidify its reputation as the home of women’s football, boxing, and combat sports.

the DAZN group has announced the launch of two new global FAST channels: DAZN Combat and DAZN Women’s Football.

The new releases closely follow the launch of Dazn Rise FAST channel in Germany and Austria in March, a free, 24/7 ad-supported channel in Germany and Austria dedicated to women’s sports.

New channels

The new DAZN Combat channel is set to offer fans front-row seats to the action in boxing and mixed martial arts, including live events, highlights, legendary archived fights, documentaries, and much more.

Dazn will showcase live boxing events as well as replays and documentaries from Dazn’s boxing and combat sports ownership roster, which includes Matchroom Boxing, Golden Boy, and MF&Dazn.

DAZN Women’s Football is presented as “the perfect destination for any women’s football fan.” It offers elite competitions including the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL), Finetwork Liga F, as well as archives, behind-the-scenes access, and highlights of the best moments.

The channel will also feature documentaries, including EQUALS, a six-part documentary series that puts viewers one-on-one with some of the best female football stars like never before.

Outside of Dazn’s main territories, LG will transport the channels globally on LG Channels in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Netherlands, France, and Australia.

Samsung TV Plus will also distribute the DAZN Women’s Football channel in Australia and New Zealand. VIDAA will transport both channels in Australia, Brazil, and Mexico. Other partners will be involved after launch, increasing the reach to more territories.

Commenting on the new services, Veronica Diquattro, CEO of Dazn’s global markets, said, “Dazn is the home of women’s football, boxing, and combat sports globally. We are committed to increasing the global presence of these sports in markets around the world, and the channels will further help sports fans to have greater access to top-level sports rights worldwide.”
