Vevo, the global music video network, recently announced that its dedicated Wham! channel has surpassed 1 billion views since its launch.

The surge in views came after the release of the Netflix documentary on the iconic ’80s band. The remarkable 69% increase in video views on the day following its premiere.

Fans of the dynamic duo flocked to the WhamVevo channel on YouTube to watch music videos for their timeless hits, such as “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go” and “Club Tropicana.”

The Wham! channel was introduced on YouTube in 2009 and currently boasts a collection of 107 videos. The Netflix documentary, Wham!, which premiered on July 5, provided an intimate look into the band’s journey to stardom, featuring previously unseen footage and candid interviews.
